Welcome to Incsub, thanks for your interest in our services.

We’re a web development firm that specializes in the design, strategy, development and deployment of significant blog and social networks - based around WordPress MU.

As the founders, developers and operators of one of the largest blog sites on the web (Edublogs) and of the central hub for community and premium WordPress MU functionality (WPMU DEV), we lead the way inĀ  development work and ongoing support for this platform.

In addition, we’ve designed, developed, migrated and support some of the largest and most complex media implementations of WordPress MU on the web, including VGB (for the most popular Norwegian site in the World , VG.no) and NationenBlog (for the most popular Danish site in the World, ekstrabladet.dk).

We specialize in intensive, cyclical and client driven development, focusing on delivering flexible outcomes and functionality within short timeframes. All of our work with WordPress MU and third party integration is designed to operate alongside core functionality ensuring we deliver extensible and upgrade compatible code.

Alongside this, our team also includes significant experience in media, training, website design, database administration and business strategy. Prior to co-founding Incsub, CEO James Farmer was a lecturer and researcher in online technologies at Deakin University and Australia’s first Online Community Editor at the largest online media organization in the country, Fairfax (theage.com.au & smh.com.au).

‘Incsub’ is a contraction of ‘incorporated subversion’, a philosphy put forward in 1999 by the late David Squires that advocates the design and development of centralized environments that can be subverted by individual users.

Thanks again for your interest in what we do and who we are, if you’d like to discuss your project with us please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
