An early Incsub project, VG Nett (the largest news site in Norway) commissioned us to create their new blogging site, VGB.no.

Not only did we migrate 34,000 blogs from their (very old) custom ‘Petrograd’ system to Multisite, but we also integrated extensive SMS, MMS and moderation functionality to massively enhance their offerings.

Alongside this we also worked up an insane number of community tools, latest post and comment displays, and a ‘master’ theme that can be configured to look like anything the users want – including, of course, the VG Nett ads.

Major Brazilian ISP, iG, wanted to update their existing blogging setup and prepare themselves for massive expansion. They talked to Incsub and we made it happen.

We looked after the implementation, scaling and deployment of the software, designed and developed over 40 themes – ranging from football and manga to travel and shopping.

An early example of the use of global tags, we pulled together the iG users’ different areas of interest into themed news pages. We also developed custom ‘BuddyPress’ style community tools – predating BuddyPress itself by a couple of years!
